ARTIST: The Pen is mighty.

I love to work with a rapidograph pen (yep old school) and process my way through a simple black and white rendering. I have more to add to this gallery, old stuff and some new stuff I look forward to doing. Stay tuned.

Turn of the century (the one before this one) Market Street in Corning, New York.

An Illustration from one of my books. Started as a pen drawing...I finished it with a wash of color but I still think of it as an ink drawing.

One of many projects done for the National Warplane Museum.

I don't consider myself a portrait artist but when a dear friend came to me asking if I could put together a page commemorating the  "the four finest coaches" in the CNY (the forth being inducted in 2016) Hall of Fame, I couldn't refuse. This wasn't about a commission (I asked for none), it was about community.

My wife and I were blessed to live in the Watkins Glen area for some 4-5 years. It is a beautiful area in the Finger Lakes southern tier of New York. Very inspiring!
